We were contacted by a very concerned client who had a previous bookkeeper handling his accounts using Quickbooks. The client was in the furniture business. They thought that their books were in order, only to find out that the company had been set up incorrectly. The chart of accounts, import allocations such as GST free imports and taxes associated with the purchase had not been allocated correctly. Consequently their BAS and GST reporting was inaccurate.
btb3 took over the client accounts and sorted through over 2 years of their accounts. In a short period of time we compiled and set up his business on a new QuickBooks data file with all his purchases, sales. imports, taxes, assets, liabilities and expenses showing correctly.
